So confused ... why is there more than one autel maxisys elite?

     question 1: I have been told if I buy an elite online it will not be serviceable or updateable, why is that?

    question 2: even if I go to a registered dealer they list more than 1 elite. example: https://www.walmart.com/search/?query=autel%20maxisys%20elite

    question 3: Why such a range of prices? $2499 to $4200

    i believe if you buy the total care program card from autel it will cover 1 year of updates and warranty
    there is only on maxisys elite( it comes withe updated slimmer J2534 Pass-Thru vehicle interface) the others are MaxiSys with a regular wireless diagnostic interface, the MaxiSys Pro that comes withe the older J2534.  if you go to https://www.auteltech.com  under the products menu you compare and read all the specs
